Affordable Water Sports in the Philippines

The Camarines Sur Water Sports Complex is rapidly gaining popularity as one of the premier indoor water sports locations in the world. Not only are the prices extremely affordable even under the most meager of budgets but the opportunities, the water sports, the accommodations and even the competitions there are proving to be both world class and very popular. There is an airport conveniently located nearby, transportation is readily available and the Camarines Sur region is also home to many top-rate natural attractions as well. If you have been looking for an affordable tropical paradise, it does not get any better than this.

Starting off with the prices is probably as good a place as any as it is very doubtful that you will find any other deals like this anywhere else in the world. The current special at the time of this writing is for one full week or seven full days of unlimited usage of the water park for roughly one-hundred Euros or approximately one hundred and sixty US dollars. That is seven full days of unlimited wake boarding that you can enjoy from morning to night in addition to deluxe hotel accommodations at Villa Del Ray or in single cabanas. Now most places, the total cost would not even get you a hotel room, much less a hotel room plus all of the added benefits.

The CamSur Water Sports Complex may have gained a bit of notoriety for being the location for the filming of many water sports videos, though some are more famous than others. Professional Riders from around the world regularly make stops here and when they were filming BILLABONG “OUT OF THE POND” they considered their film incomplete without scenes filmed at the CamSur Water Sports Complex. Global Warning by Ronnie Romero and David Cervenka was also shot in part at this same ideal location. This is not all there is though as the many annual events being held at the Water Sports Complex are increasing in global appeal and popularity.

The Camarines Sur Water Sports Complex was home to an accredited Iron Man competition in 2009 and many more activities are planned for the 2010 season and well into the future as well. Here you will have the opportunity to swim, wake board and enjoy plenty of other related activities with the Philippine stars and other national heroes. If you do by some chance get tired of the water sports, there is also a more traditional skate park where you can keep your feet dry while working on your moves but it may hurt a bit more when you land wrong here.

For some more simple fun and relaxation you can also spend time at the Lago Del Ray section of the water park where the majority of the water activities are a little bit less intense and more conducive to the enjoyment of some of the less adventurous and young. Still, no matter what you are looking for, for price, adventure and the opportunity to hob knob with the rich and the famous, you are not likely to find anything else like the Camarines Sur Water Sports Complex anywhere else in the world.
