Whether you are already living in the United States or you are planning on visiting there, you may want to check out some of the real hot spots. If you are going on vacation for St Valentine’s Day when the romance is in full bloom, you may want to check out some of the hot spots for lovers. It has long been said that Virginia is for Lovers and indeed, that is the State Motto of Virginia but Virginia in February is generally not known for its climate. So where are you going to celebrate this weekend of romance?
Florida has to take the prize for being home to the most hot spots in the Nation. Even in February, the weather is usually nice enough to allow for enjoying the beach and there is plenty of beach to enjoy in Florida. Granted, the surf in the Atlantic may not come even close to matching the surf in the Pacific but then again, if you are going there to spend time with that special someone, you may forget about the surfboard for the weekend at least. While there are numerous hot spots even among the Native Floridians, we had to narrow it down some. Therefore, we have limited the US Hot Spots in Florida to two of the more popular beaches.
Daytona Beach is “The World’s Most Famous Beach” and by all accounts, this is actually an accurate statement. Being home to the Daytona 500, Bike Week and more shows and tourism than almost any other point in the nation when considering the city as a whole, this may very well be a justified opinion … though it does remain an opinion. Daytona Beach does have an impressive boardwalk and there is never any shortage of attractions, hot spots and hotel rooms. In short, Daytona Beach, Florida is one of the nations true and favorite hot spots. If you are feeling extremely wholesome and adventurous at the same time, there is also a Naturalist Beach up the road a little ways in Ormond Beach Florida but clothing optional is not for everyone and is certainly not always hot.
Ft Lauderdale is probably best known for being the original home of the Girls Gone Wild Videos. If that does not scream “Hot Spot for Hot Couples” nothing does. Well, it may also scream out to a lot of guys in a different fashion but this is a family oriented website so be nice please. Still, if the rolling surf and the white, sandy beaches in Fort Lauderdale do not get your attention and get you in the mood for love, the scenes up and down the beach probably will. Home to many “Hot” contests … like hottest couples, hottest guy contests, hottest girl contests and of course, what would a day in the surf be like if no t-shirt ever got doused with a little bit of water so there are wet t-shirt contests as well. All things being equal, if you are young and hot, Fort Lauderdale is an excellent choice for a hot spot for hot couples in Florida.
Despite popular belief, most guys really are romantic. There is very little in the world that compares to a sunset on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Watching the sun go down over the Gulf of Mexico is sure to warm even the coldest girl’s heart and put her in the mood for being romanced, wined and dined. For the West Coast Florida Hot Spot awards, the Tampa Bay area and Treasure Island are hard to beat.
