If you ever go to Dublin, you are probably going to hear about the Temple Bar and really, it is going to be worth your time to go there and check it out. Although it is Dublin, Ireland and so there are more than enough bars, this is one of the most popular of all and one that is definitely going to be worth your time.
Before you can head over to the Temple Bar however, you are going to need to learn a bit more about it and in particular where in Dublin you can go to find it.
Temple Bar
This bar is one of the most renowned in the Dublin area and for good reason. This is not only one bar but in fact the name is used to refer to an entire area on the south bank of the River Liffey in Dublin. It has preserved its medieval street pattern unlike most others in Dublin and so if you are heading to the area and would like to take in some authenticity, this is one area that you are definitely going to want to make your way to.
Today the area is the location for many events in Dublin, and there is the Irish Photography Center there as well, which incorporates the Dublin Institute of Photography, the National Photographic Archives and the Gallery of Photography.
If you are more into the nightlife you can still find lots of great things to do if you head over to Temple Bar in Dublin. This is a major area for nightlife and there are lots of great tourist-based nightclubs in the area. If you really want to have a great night this is one of the best places in all of Dublin that you can head to.
Two squares have even been renovated in recent years, and if you get to Dublin and find that you are not able to get to Temple Bar, all you have to do is ask anyone in the area and they will direct you on how to get there. This is certainly not the only place in Dublin that you are going to want to check out so make sure that you get out there and see all that Dublin has to offer.
This is a great place, one of the best in all of Ireland and one that millions of tourists travel to year after year to check out for themselves.
